Fukunari Kimura
Born in 1958. Graduated from the Department of Political Science, Faculty of Law, The University of Tokyo. Received his Master of Science and Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin.
After serving as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Economics, State University of New York at Albany, and as an Assistant Professor and Professor at the Faculty of Economics, Keio University, he became a Professor Emeritus and Senior Professor at Keio University in 2024.
He also serves as Director of the Institute of Developing Economies, Japan External Trade Organization (IDE-JETRO) and as a Senior Research Fellow at the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA).
