[Thursday, May 30] Seminar for Students on Future Life Planning: "My Future Self. 4" (In-person, pre-registration required, with partial online viewing)

Event Date

Event Venue

Other

May 13, 2024

We will be holding the 4th "My Future Self." seminar.

In today's world where ways of working and living are diversifying, there are various anxieties and concerns about the future.

This series aims to broaden your range of choices when envisioning your future life plan by introducing you to the real-life experiences of alumni (*) working in various industries.

(*) In this seminar, we affectionately refer to our speakers not as lecturers, but as "Catalysts" (Katarisuto), to foster a more relaxed and personal connection.

For this fourth session, we have invited three alumni with diverse ways of living and working to serve as our Catalysts.

They will discuss life from various perspectives, focusing on the anxieties and conflicts they faced when choosing paths other than conventional employment (joining a company)—such as becoming a novelist, taking over a family business, or working as an occupational physician/medical journalist. They will also touch on the meaning of work, marriage, pregnancy, childbirth, and childcare.

They will also offer advice to students who have not yet found what they want to do in the future or who have vague anxieties about it. We hope this will be helpful for your life planning.

Part 2 will be a networking session where in-person attendees can ask questions directly to the Catalysts.

We also encourage attendees to use this as an opportunity to exchange information with each other♪

Why not envision yourself 5, 10, or 20 years from now, expand your future options, and think about the person you want to become—your "Future Self"?

If you wish to participate, please apply using the link below.

We look forward to receiving your applications!
