The social and legal systems surrounding LGBTQ people are constantly changing. Why don't we start by thinking about what makes a university welcoming for LGBTQ students from our own standpoint? We will welcome as our guest speaker Ms. Miu Yakushi, a transgender person and the representative of ReBit, an organization that has been working under the themes of "as many times as needed" and "little by little."
In the second part, Professor Emeritus Masayuki Okahara, who also serves as a special committee member of the university's Diversity Promotion Committee, will join the discussion. Based on questions submitted by the audience, we will discuss how to make Keio University a more welcoming place for LGBTQ students.
*We are accepting questions in advance! The privacy of those who ask questions will be protected.
