Overview :

This lecture will feature Mr. Bill Greenwalt, a senior fellow at the American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy Research, who previously served as the head of acquisition policy for the Senate Armed Services Committee and as the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Industrial Policy at the Department of Defense. He will discuss the impact of US defense and commercial innovation on economic and national security.

Biography

William C. Greenwalt

Visiting Senior Fellow, American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy Research

As a professional staff member on the US Senate Armed Services Committee, he was responsible for legislative reforms at the Department of Defense. He also served as the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Industrial Policy, held senior positions in both the Senate and the House of Representatives, and was active in the defense industry. He addresses various defense and government-related issues as an advisor, board member, and consultant for government, non-profit, and private organizations.
