KGRI Research Results Presentation Meeting and Researcher Networking Event Held

On Friday, July 29, 2022, the "KGRI Research Results Presentation Meeting and Researcher Networking Event" was held in a hybrid format, both in-person at CIC Tokyo (Toranomon, Minato-ku) and online. The event focused on the activities of the "2040 Independence and Self-Respect Project," which addresses Japan's "2040 Problem." Participants included not only KGRI members and project researchers but also companies and students interested in this theme. First, Masato Yasui (Director of KGRI / Professor, School of Medicine) and Makoto Asai (Project Professor of KGRI) gave opening remarks and explained the significance of the project. Next, a panel discussion was held on "The Present and Future of a Community Created by Researchers, Companies, and Students to Solve the 2040 Problem," featuring representatives from each group. Following this, representatives from each part of the 2040 Independence and Self-Respect Project presented their research results and new research themes. Finally, Masayuki Amagai (Vice-President) delivered the closing remarks.

Panels and demonstration tables for each research project were set up at the venue, fostering lively discussions where various research fields converged and deepening exchanges with researchers from both within and outside Keio.
