On Friday, November 18, 2022, the "KGRI Research Results Briefing and Researcher Exchange Meeting" was held. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, last year's event was held mainly online (or in a hybrid format), but this time it was held in person for the first time in a while at the G-Lab on the Mita Campus. Approximately 30 people, including KGRI members and project members, gathered, allowing researchers from different fields to interact.
At the beginning, Professor Yuko Kimijima of the Faculty of Law, Director of KGRI, gave the opening remarks and explained the significance of this Research Results Briefing and Researcher Exchange Meeting.
Under the moderation of Professor Tatsuhiko Yamamoto of the Law School (Deputy Director of KGRI), presentations of research results and a Q&A session were held by the representatives of the top-down and start-up projects. Lively discussions were held on various research areas, making the event feel like a seedbed for interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary projects.
Finally, in the closing remarks by Professor Takahiro Hoshino of the Faculty of Economics (Deputy Director of KGRI), expectations for further global and cross-disciplinary research were expressed.
